“So I’m back, to the velvet underground”

The garden path forks ahead. I’m not so sure where I’m headed, and I have a lot of things to settle and figure out before I go further. Someone always told me to stop and smell the roses, and I’m in no rush, but sometimes it feels like I’m going in circles and I always end up in the same place I started. I’m starting to wonder if I’m even making any progress at all. The song keeps playing on repeat.

“So I’m back to the floor… that I love. To a room with sun lace and paper flowers, back to the gypsy that I was.”

A lot’s been happening. Done some growing and done some showing. But I really need to stop the distractions. The real world’s been threatening to slap me in the face.
