I heard this particular rendition of J Dilla’s “Love Jones” somewhere on the Hype Machine and I couldn’t find it anywhere. So I made my own version of it using Garage Band. Hell yeah!!
What is interesting here is that it includes little audio snippets from Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining” and intersperses it with audio snippets from J Dilla’s “The Shining”. I have re-dubbed it “Love Jones (In My Mouth)”. Yee.
