Papa T’es Plus Dans Le Coup

So first things first, I want a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Pro.

So last night, I hung out at my new friend’s house (so nice to get out of these dormitories) and we totally made some juice using Jack LaLanne’s Power Juicer Pro! I learned that celery is a surprisingly necessary flavor to make any juice taste better. Sooo good, I can’t wait to have my own so I can make Bloody Mary’s.

Anyhoo, after we made the most awesome juices (celery, tomato, broccoli juice? Orange Pineapple juice! Apple Ginger juice??!!), we watched “8 Women” or what I like to call “8 Femmes” (it’s a Franch movie. From France). I remember it being really fun and kitschy, but also really Important for some reason, when I first saw it a few years ago. Maybe because I was an impressionable and aspiring elitist and wanted to be authentic by watching foreign films and stuff. To me: any foreign film was automatically good and somehow Important.

This time, I guess I just wasn’t in the mood to read the subtitles so it was just OK. I would still recommend it for the costumes and the songs, though. Especially this one: Papa T’es Plus Dans Le Coup, the most awesome, kitschy, french pop song. The movie is very lesbian-tastic, very colorful, and very melodramatic. I would double-feature it with Volver, maybe… just because it is borderline outrageous.
